The Prince Bishops Teaching School Alliance is a unique cross-phase teaching school of which there are, at present eight strategic partners which consists of an already well-established partnership and existing collaboration. The Prince Bishops Teaching School Alliance builds upon existing links with other local Teaching Schools, Universities and Local Authorities
Our alliance will have a focus on school improvement across all phases, including a strong emphasis on raising achievement to all pupils.
We will take a leading role in:
Recruitment and training – of new entrants to the profession, working with Universities to ensure high quality school-led teacher training and professional development opportunities at all stages in their career.
Professional development for teachers, leaders and support staff at providing sustained improvement of education improving outcomes for all.
Identify leadership potential – ensuring that the most talented are spotted and supported to become successful leaders of our future.
Provide support to other schools – improving performance at other schools by working with school leaders, staff and governors.
Research and development – Engaging in regional and national research projects working with The Department for Education, National College for Teaching and Leadership and Universities.
