Course Aims:


Students will be given the opportunity to acquire and apply knowledge, skills and understanding through the:

  • Application of theory into practice through a work placement and classroom theory and practice.

Units

  • Communication in Health and Social Care

  • Ensuring safe environments in Health and Social Care settings

  • Vocational experiences in a Health and Social Care setting.

  • Creative and therapeutic activities in Health and Social Care.

Course Description

This BTEC qualification focuses on both theory and practice, giving learners the opportunity to engage in subject content that is relevant to the working world of Health and Social Care. Learners will also get the opportunity to work (60hrs) in the Health and Social Care sector as part of Vocational experiences in Health and Social Care
