Pre-September Checklist

There are a few practical things that you will need to think about before starting with us in September.

The form below is intended as a useful tool to get you thinking, it is not a compulsory form.

Once complete, the form will be sent to you as an e-mail that you can keep ready for your first day with us at Venerable Bede Academy. Or alternatively, you can print out your email to keep with you.

A version of this form appears in the Handbook available in the ‘Transition resources‘ section should you wish to print it out and fill it in by hand.

Please note: In line with GDPR and safeguarding our website will not store copies of your e-mail address, your IP address or any of the information you fill in.

As this tool can only send your list to the email you enter, we have no access to any of the information entered into it and so we can not share it or restore it.

Remember the school day starts promptly at 8.40 a.m. and finishes at 3.00 p.m. (Times may be different for you if you are joining us for Breakfast Club and/or out of hours activities)

BE SAFE ON YOUR JOURNEY TO AND FROM SCHOOL

Behaviour on buses should always be excellent e.g. remember your bus fare, sit down, obey the driver etc, and remember you represent the Venerable Bede Academy whilst you are in uniform.
Be aware of the busy roads.
Use pedestrian crossings.
Always walk on the footpaths where they are provided.
