Values

We are a church of England Academy and pride ourselves on our Christian ethos, which is underpinned by five values; each of these values is explored as a theme in each year group;

Expectations

 We have three simple expectations of all our pupils.

These expectations are consistently applied and form the basis of our rewards and sanctions. 

Year Groups

The Venerable Bede CE Academy is divided into 5-year groups with 5 Pastoral Year Group Managers. All pupils in Years 7 – 11 wear the same uniform, but there are some exceptions:

  • Year 11 Prefects wear purple ties
  • The Senior Prefects wear gold ties

Each year group is supported by a team of tutors, which is led by a Pastoral Year Group Manager.
