The Directors of this Academy wish to appoint the following posts to start as soon as possible:
1 Learning Support Assistant (Term Time Only +5 inset days) – Permanent Post 37 hours per week
£20,092 – £20,903 Actual salary of £16,982 – £17,668 (less than 5 years’ service) and £17,356 – £18,057 (more than 5 years’ service)
1 Learning Support Assistant (Term Time Only +5 inset days) – Temporary Post 37 hours per week (this post is linked to specific pupil funding and may be time limited)
£20,092 – £20, 903 Actual salary of £16,982 – £17,668 (less than 5 years’ service) and £17,356 – £18,057 (more than 5 years’ service)

This is a varied role which involves the following aspects:
- To support pupils with individual special educational needs, both in class and on a one to one basis.
- To undertake a mentoring role and small group work.
- To provide appropriate administrative support to the SENDCo, including the development of support plans, writing of reports and coordinating work with other professionals.

Ideally you will have previous experience in this area, or in a similar role. You will be a team player who puts the needs of the pupils first.
