The Directors of the Trust are seeking to recruit the following post as soon as possible:
Part Time Cleaner – Venerable Bede CE Academy – Salary – NJC Scale 1 £18,333 FTE (£9.50per hour) – Pay Award Pending
15 hours per week, All Year Round, Permanent
During term time, hours are 3.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. daily. During holiday periods, daily hours are flexible between the hours of 8.00am – 4.00p.m.
Dayspring Trust is a strong Church of England Multi-Academy Trust, with Secondary Schools in Stockton and Sunderland. We are currently in the process of a merger to bring Dayspring Trust and Northern Lights Learning Trust together in Spring 2023, so this is an exciting time to join us.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene to their designated area of the school. You will be reliable, trustworthy, hardworking and able to work effectively on your own as well as being part of a team. Duties will include general cleaning, vacuuming, polishing, mopping and cleaning bathrooms. Previous cleaning experience is essential for this role and experience of cleaning in a school would be an advantage.
