By ensuring all of our pupils study the core subjects, we can be satisfied that they have a broad curriculum that will meet the demands of the 21st century and enable them to:

All pupils in upper school study the following core subjects:
- English Language and Literature
- Mathematics
- Science
- Religious Education
- Humanity (either Geography or History)
- Physical Education (non-examination)
- Personal Development (including personal, health, social, citizenship and careers education – non-examination)
