Discover and share books you love on Goodreads, the world’s largest site for readers and book recommendations! Social media for books and readers, you can browse for books to read, or create yourself an account and start submitting your own reviews. Add books to your book shelf to keep track of your wishlist or what you've already read.
LoveReading UK
Need some help choosing a book to read? LoveReading is the UK’s leading book recommendation website, on a mission to share book love and encourage reading for pleasure. You can even download extracts and opening chapters to help you decide.
LoveReading4Kids
Wanting to help your child find their next book to read? Love Reading 4 Kids is the junior version of Love Reading. All the same content and expert advice but with books aimed at kids right from babies up to young adults.
Where to get those books from? There are lots of online options for buying books, but here are some you might not have thought of.
Sunderland City Libraries
Why not join one of the local libraries to borrow books and other resources? Once you're a member you can also borrow e-books and audio books. Adults and children can be members, and there are often events and activities planned to join in with.
