Our languages curriculum develops confident communicators who understand and appreciate linguistic and cultural diversity. Pupils build vocabulary, grammar and communication skills sequentially, learning to listen, speak, read and write with growing fluency.
We aim to ensure ambition for all regardless of background or starting points and remove barriers so every pupil can access language learning successfully. Pupils are encouraged to persevere, celebrate progress and embrace challenge.
Aligned with our Christian ethos, pupils demonstrate our school values and develop cultural awareness, preparing them to engage positively with the world and soar to the heights together.
